The Dean Luca Quintet (DLQ) is a NYC-based jazz group that has been together for more than 20 years. Michael Roth is a resident of Irvington, and he and the band have played numerous community events at private homes and local venues (e.g, Lyndhurst Mansion, Ardsley Country Club and the esteemed Lustig Mansion:) for educational foundations, fundraisers and parties. Last year the group had a few guests sit in ranging from renowned local jazz pros and wonderful amateurs to students studying jazz at top music schools like Oberlin College, Manhattan School of Music and Eastman School of Music.
